The Natchitoches meat pie is a traditional recipe consisting of a mixture of ground beef and pork, salt, pepper, onion, and parsley which is then folded into a half-moon shape and deep fried. Serve as an entree or use as appetizers.

Deep Frying: Preheat oil to 350-375 F. Fry pies from frozen state for 6-7 minutes or until golden brown. Conventional Oven: Preheat oven to 350 F. Brush pies with melted margarine or butter. Bake on a non-stick cookie sheet for 30 minutes until golden brown and center is heated. Microwave: Not Recommended
